
Kano State being a hub of business and democracy in Northern Nigeria is one of the reasons why President Alhaji Bola Ahmed Tinubu continues to give special attention to Kano State.
Ibrahim Ibrahim disclosed this in an interview with newsmen, saying that among the development projects that President Tinubu facilitated in Kano State include the allocation of N12 billion for the installation of solar power at Malam Aminu Kano Hospital which will generate seven megawatts which will make the hospital disconnected from the national grid.
He also said that the construction of a five-storey emergency ward at AKTH Hospital is underway. He said that this year alone, President Tinubu facilitated the spending of N26 billion on Malam Aminu Kano Hospital to make it one of the top hospitals in Africa.
Ambassador Ibrahim said other institutions that have benefited from the development projects in Kano State under the leadership of Bola Ahmed Tinubu include Bayero University which will also be equipped with five to six megawatts of solar power, Aliko Dangote University in Wudil which will be equipped with four megawatts of solar power and Murtala Hospital which will also be equipped with three megawatts of solar power.
He further informed the newsmen that Nasarawa Hospital in Kano, President Tinubu facilitated the installation of three megawatts of solar power, saying that providing solar power to these institutions will reduce their expenditure on electricity and diesel, maintenance of Generators and others.
Ibrahim said that there are several development projects that have been initiated or continued under the administration of President Tinubu including the continuation of the construction of the Kano-Kaduna railway
The continuation of the construction of affordable housing in some local government areas of Kano State and
The renovation of the Malam Aminu Kano International Airport to make it similar to that of developed countries in the world.
He said other projects include the continuation of the Kano-Kaduna-Abuja dual carriageway project, the continuation of the Kano-Katsina dual carriageway project, the continuation of the Kano-Hadejia dual carriageway project, the continuation of the Kano-Dutse-Maradi dual carriageway project, the continuation of the Kano-Katsina dual carriageway project, the continuation of the Kano-Dutse-Maradi dual carriageway project, the continuation of the Kano-Dutse-Maradi dual carriageway project, the continuation of the Kano-Katsina Yunusa Dady said that there are From the quality of the secondary school in Kabo to the University of Science and Technology and the construction of the secondary school in Rano and Gyara, sixteen more in Kano State and the construction of the International Conference Centre in Yar Gaya, all in Kano State.
Ambassador Ibrahim I. Ibrahim said that this alone is enough for the people of Kano State and the Hassan of Northern Nigeria to thank President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for such great projects that he has facilitated within the confines of Kano State alone.
