CP Balarabe Sue rtd expressed his happiness over the way stakeholders in Kano have come together to bring about lasting peace in the State.
The Sarkin Dawaki mai Tuta of Gaya Emirate commended the leadership of the Security Consultative Forum under the Chairmanship of Col. Aminu Maitama (Rtd) and assured the people of Kano of his total support and contribution toward the progress and security of the state.
CP Balarabe Sule (Rtd) called on community leaders, Imams, business owners, youths, and residents to continue supporting security agencies and report suspicious activities in order to tackle insecurity, thuggery (Daba), drug abuse, phone theft, and youth restiveness.
He also sympathized with the people of Lakwaya Gwarzo Local Government Area over the security challenges affecting the area and expressed confidence that the forum would play a significant role in strengthening peace and security across Kano State.
He further urged government to expand vocational and skills acquisition programmes for youths as part of efforts to build a better future and reduce social vices in society.
