ONE PARTY, ONE VISION, ONE VICTORY: THE APC AGENDA FOR 2027

INTRODUCTION
The strength, stability, and success of any political party depend not only on the quality of its leadership but also on the commitment, loyalty, sacrifices, and active participation of its members. Throughout history, successful political movements have been built on the foundation of a shared vision, collective responsibility, and unwavering dedication to common goals.
As a proud and committed member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), I consider it not only a duty but also a moral obligation to promote, protect, defend, market, and advance the interests of our great party. This responsibility extends beyond elected officials, political appointees, and party executives. It is a collective responsibility that belongs to every member of the APC, regardless of status, position, or influence.
The journey towards the 2027 General Elections requires renewed commitment, strategic thinking, unity of purpose, and active participation from all party members. The success of our party depends on our ability to work together under one banner, pursue one vision, and achieve one victory.
THE RESPONSIBILITY OF EVERY APC MEMBER
Politics is fundamentally about representation, service, interests, and the pursuit of a better society. Consequently, every APC member has a responsibility to contribute to the growth, development, and success of the party according to his or her capacity.
These contributions may be financial, intellectual, moral, professional, organizational, or strategic. Every member possesses unique talents, experiences, ideas, and resources that can contribute to strengthening the party.
No contribution is too small, and no member is too insignificant to make a meaningful impact. Political success is achieved when ordinary members perform extraordinary responsibilities with dedication and sincerity.
Every APC member should, therefore, see himself or herself as an ambassador of the party and a custodian of its values, principles, achievements, and aspirations.
BEYOND MEMBERSHIP: THE NEED FOR ACTIVE PARTICIPATION
Merely registering as a member of the APC is not enough. Genuine membership requires active involvement in party programmes, meetings, campaigns, policy discussions, voter education initiatives, community outreach programmes, and grassroots mobilization activities.
A thriving political party is sustained by members who are actively engaged, informed, and committed to advancing its objectives. Party members should consistently promote the achievements of the APC, defend its policies where necessary, and contribute ideas that can strengthen the party’s position among the electorate.
Passivity and indifference have no place in a progressive political movement. Every member must be willing to contribute positively towards building a stronger and more successful APC.
THE IMPORTANCE OF UNITY AND RECONCILIATION
With the conclusion of the primary elections, the time has come for unity, reconciliation, and collective action. Internal contests are a normal feature of democratic politics, but once decisions have been made, the focus must shift towards achieving victory in the general elections.
This is the moment to close ranks, strengthen relationships, heal differences, and work together as one united political family.
The APC must remain focused on its larger mission and collective objectives. Personal interests should never take precedence over the overall interests of the party. Unity remains one of the most powerful instruments for achieving political success and sustainable progress.
ENCOURAGING IDEAS, INNOVATION, AND CONSTRUCTIVE ENGAGEMENT
One of the hallmarks of a successful political party is its ability to listen to its members. The APC should continue to encourage an environment where constructive criticism, innovative ideas, policy recommendations, and strategic suggestions are welcomed and appreciated.
Party members should not wait until they are consulted before offering beneficial advice. Every member has both the right and responsibility to contribute ideas that can strengthen the party and improve its performance.
To promote wider participation, the party should establish efficient and accessible channels through which members can submit suggestions, observations, complaints, recommendations, and policy proposals. Such mechanisms will strengthen internal democracy, improve communication, and enhance members’ sense of ownership and belonging.
APC KANO STATE: A MODEL OF POLITICAL EXCELLENCE
As one of the most politically influential states in Nigeria, Kano State occupies a unique position in the nation’s political landscape. The APC in Kano State has a historic responsibility to provide leadership, direction, and inspiration for party members across the country.
APC Kano State should strive to become a model of political excellence, innovation, discipline, organization, and strategic engagement. The party must embrace modern political communication, data-driven strategies, youth empowerment, women’s inclusion, stakeholder engagement, and effective grassroots mobilization.
Through visionary leadership, unity, and strategic planning, APC Kano State can set a standard for political organization and democratic participation throughout Nigeria.
SUPPORTING PARTY LEADERSHIP AND ELECTORAL SUCCESS
As members of the APC, we have a collective responsibility to support the success of our party and its leadership at all levels.
This includes strengthening party structures, mobilizing supporters, expanding membership, promoting unity, defending the party’s achievements, and communicating its vision effectively to the people.
Our collective efforts should be directed towards supporting the success of His Excellency Abba Kabiru Yusuf, His Excellency President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, and all APC candidates seeking elective positions from the state to the national level.
The success of the APC can not be achieved by a few individuals alone. It requires teamwork, sacrifice, discipline, commitment, strategic planning, effective communication, and unwavering dedication from all party members.
THE ROLE OF YOUTH, WOMEN, AND GRASSROOTS SUPPORTERS
The future strength and sustainability of the APC depend significantly on the active participation of young people, women, professionals, community leaders, and grassroots supporters.
Young people bring innovation, energy, creativity, and technological expertise. Women contribute leadership, resilience, organizational capacity, and community influence. Grassroots supporters provide the foundation upon which electoral victories are built.
The APC must continue to create opportunities for these groups to participate meaningfully in leadership, decision-making, policy development, political mobilization, and governance.
