Garo Receives Ex-Kano Guber Candidate Inuwa Waya, Assures Utilization of Advice
Kano State Deputy Governor, Alhaji Murtala Sule Garo, has assured that constructive advice from well-wishers and stakeholders will be judiciously utilized for the development of the state.
The Deputy eputy Governor made the statement while receiving a former gubernatorial candidate of the APC, Alhaji Kabiru Inuwa Waya, who paid him a courtesy visit in his office.
He expressed appreciation for the visit and commended Waya’s contributions and support to the party, assuring him that the state government would continue to collaborate with individuals committed to the progress of Kano State.
“As we all know, Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf is committed to the ‘Kano First’ agenda in all state affairs. With guidance and advice from elder statesmen like you, the development of Kano State will be driven to greater heights,” Garo said.
Earlier, Alhaji Kabiru Inuwa Waya thanked the Deputy Governor for receiving his delegation, explaining that the visit was to congratulate him and celebrate his emergence as Deputy Governor.
“His Excellency, Alhaji Murtala Sule Garo, is a man of compassion and humanity whose good deeds have not gone unnoticed. His emergence as Deputy Governor received widespread support because of his capacity to assist Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf in delivering the ‘Kano First’ agenda and promoting unity within the APC,” Waya stated.
He pledged his continued support to the state government and prayed for a peaceful, united, and progressive Kano State.
Also speaking, the member representing Kano Municipal Constituency in Kano State House of Assembly, Hon. Nabil Sarki Aliyu Daneji, offered prayers for Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf and Deputy Governor Murtala Sule Garo.
He described Alhaji Kabiru Inuwa Waya as a committed supporter of the Governor Yusuf administration and expressed confidence that he would sustain his support for the government.
