The Executive Chairman of Gwarzo Local Government Area, Dr. Mani Tsoho, has been described as an epitome of transformational leadership and a dynamic force committed to progressive development at the grassroots level.
This commendation was made by APC chieftain, Alhaji Bello Dahir Gwarzo , while addressing newsmen in his office, where he highlighted the remarkable strides recorded under the present administration.
According to him, Dr. Mani Tsoho’s leadership is rooted in transparency, accountability, and people-centered governance, which has repositioned Gwarzo as one of the most rapidly developing local Government areas in Kano State.
He stated that the chairman has prioritized infrastructural renewal, ensuring that rural roads linking communities across the ten wards are rehabilitated to ease transportation, boost trade, and improve access to social services.
Alhaji Bello Dahir noted that significant investments have been made in the education sector, including the renovation of primary schools, provision of desks and instructional materials, and support for teachers to enhance the quality of learning for pupils.
In the health sector, he explained that the administration has upgraded cottage hospitals and primary healthcare centers, making essential medical services more accessible and affordable to residents, particularly women and children.
He added that the provision of modern medical equipment and support to health personnel has greatly improved service delivery across the area.
The APC stalwart further emphasized that rural electrification projects initiated by the chairman have brought relief to several communities, stimulating small-scale businesses and encouraging economic activities.
He pointed out that water supply schemes have been expanded and rehabilitated to provide clean and safe drinking water, thereby reducing waterborne diseases and improving public health standards.
Alhaji Bello Dahir Gwarzo also praised the administration’s commitment to youth empowerment, noting that skills acquisition programs and support for small enterprises have enabled many young people to become self-reliant.
He highlighted women empowerment initiatives, including financial assistance and vocational training, as part of efforts to promote inclusiveness and economic participation among women in the local Government.
The chairman’s agricultural support programs, such as the distribution of fertilizers and improved seedlings to farmers, were also described as a major boost to food production and rural livelihoods.
Security, according to him, has been strengthened through collaboration with community leaders and security agencies, ensuring peace and stability across the local Government.
He further commended Dr. Mani Tsoho for maintaining an open-door policy, encouraging dialogue and consultation with stakeholders to ensure that Governance remains participatory and responsive.
Alhaji Bello Dahir Gwarzo stressed that the administration’s achievements reflect a clear vision focused on sustainable growth and equitable development for all communities in Gwarzo.
He therefore called on residents to continue supporting the chairman’s efforts, emphasizing that unity and cooperation are essential for consolidating the gains already achieved.
