
The Kano State Hisbah Board has announced the arrest of several individuals allegedly involved in immoral activities at Gadar Tamburawa in Kano.
Deputy Commander-General of the Board, Malam Mujahideen Aminuddeen, disclosed this while briefing journalists in Kano .
According to him, the arrests were made under a newly launched operation tagged “Gyara Kayanka” (meaning “Put Your House in Order”), following credible intelligence reports that some people were engaging in illegal and immoral acts in the area.
Malam Aminuddeen explained that the operation, carried out in collaboration with personnel of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), led to a successful raid in Dawakin Kudu Local Government Area.
He revealed that both males and females were apprehended at the location, where they were allegedly caught engaging in various immoral activities.
“The success of this operation shows the importance of intelligence gathering and collaboration with other security agencies,”
The deputy commander-general further warned members of the public to desist from acts of immorality and live in obedience to Allah.
He assured that the Hisbah would not relent in its efforts to maintain public morality and order across the state.
