EMIR OF KANO ALHAJI AMINU ADO BAYERO RECEIVED FIRST HONORARY AWARD IN NIGERIA’S HISTORY.
Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero received the honorary award with a commendation from the Association of Former Councillors in 774,000 Constituencies across the Federation.
Receiving the honorary award the Emir of Kano Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero hosted the SEWA International Phinthropy (Indian International) under the leadership of Mr. Biial JI, the Emir was appreciated with their arrival because of the kind of work they are doing, as people spend a lot of money to learn things in foreign countries but they came to educate the people of Kano State.
He said there is a long-standing relationship between India and Nigeria especially how some of them taught education and how to watch movies and their likes.
He gave the example of the Ambassador of Pakistan Phm. Ahmad Ibrahim Yakasai said he is bringing about progress in the relationship between Kano State and Nigeria, despite being a Nigerian and a native of Kano State as well as a District Head in Kano Emirate, but the country has seen him as its representative, thanking Almighty God for his efforts and hoping that this relationship will continue.
He thanked the guests who was came under the leadership of Hajiya Hadiza and assured them of solidarity of the Kano Emirate and hoped that they would continue to bring progress to Kano State and Nigeria ta large.
In his speech, the Chairman of SEWA International Phinthropy (Indian International), Mr. Biial JI said they were at his palace to introduce themselves to His Highness the Emir of Kano and seek his blessings in the work they have done.
In another development, His Highness the Emir of Kano, Alhaji Aminu Bayero, hosted the National Council of Councillors at his palace.
The Emir said that when they were District Heads and served in various Local Government Areas in kano they knew the contribution that Councillors make together with Local Government chairmen in the development of their people and the country.
He therefore urged the members of the Association to continue to make such contributions even though they are not in their positions.
He thanked them for the award and assured them of his support and solidarity whenever the need arises.
While presenting the award and his remarks, the Chairman of the National Council of Former Councillors, Ambassador Auwal Kasim, said that this was the first award and recognition they had ever given to a leader in Nigeria.
He said they had awarded the Emir of Kano, Alhaji Aminu Bayero for his generosity towards the community, non-discrimination against any gender, following the orders of leaders with courtesy and obedience, and his patience perseverance in all aspects of life.
The Association wished His the Emir of Kano Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero, the best of luck and prayed that God would continue to bless him in all his future endeavors.
