
NEXT FRONTIERS NIGERIA PARTICIPATES IN THE NIGERIAN PEOPLE’S STRATEGIC CONFERENCE (NPSC)
Next Frontiers Nigeria is pleased to announce its participation in the Nigerian People’s Strategic Conference (NPSC), where critical discussions were held on strengthening Nigeria’s security architecture and promoting indigenous innovation.
The conference focused on the theme:
“Building a Modern Security Ecosystem in Nigeria: The Role of Defence Industries Corporation of Nigeria (DICON) Products.”
The event was graced by distinguished dignitaries, including the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Benjamin Okezie Kalu, CFR; Senator Osita Izunaso; the Honourable Minister of Defence; and Gen. Christopher Gwabin Musa, alongside other government officials, industry leaders, and key stakeholders in the security sector.
Representing Next Frontiers Nigeria, Amb. Comrade Dahiru Muhammad Maihula participated in the conference as part of the organization’s commitment to supporting national development, innovation, and strategic engagement on issues of national importance.
In her goodwill message, the renowned humanitarian and Founder of Next Frontiers Nigeria, Amb. Dr. Fatima Usman Nazir, emphasized the importance of promoting and utilizing Nigerian-made products. She noted that supporting indigenous industries is a significant step toward national development, particularly in empowering young entrepreneurs, innovators, and talented individuals across both the public and private sectors.
She further stressed that strengthening local production and encouraging the patronage of Nigerian products would enhance the country’s competitiveness, create employment opportunities, and expand market access both within and beyond Nigeria’s borders.
Participants at the conference examined the importance of strengthening Nigeria’s security ecosystem through locally developed defence technologies and innovations produced by the Defence Industries Corporation of Nigeria (DICON). Discussions highlighted the strategic role of indigenous manufacturing in achieving national security, economic growth, and technological advancement.
The conference took place at the NAF Conference Centre, Kado, Abuja, on Saturday, 13 June 2026, commencing at 11:00 a.m. This engagement underscores Next Frontiers Nigeria’s commitment to promoting self-reliance, innovation, youth empowerment, and sustainable solutions that contribute to a stronger, safer, and more prosperous Nigeria. Together, we support the advancement of indigenous solutions for a safer, stronger, and more secure Nigeria.
