Newly recruited primary school teachers employed by Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf administration of Rano local government have been urged to dedicate themselves to imparting good morals and quality education to children from grassroot level.
The Chairman finance committee Kano state House of Assembly and member representing Rano Constituency, Honourable Ibrahim Malami Rano, made the call during the presentation of appointment letters to newly recruited permanent primary school teachers and BESDA held at Rano local government Secretariat hall
This was contained in a press statement issued by the zonal Information Officer in charge of Rano zone, Malam Abdullahi Musa Gyadi Gyadi.added that, Rano local government received a total of 145 appointment letters, comprising 92 permanent teachers and 53 BESDA teachers.
Honourable. Ibrahim Malami Rano stated that if teachers are committed to providing children with quality education as well as sound moral upbringing, and parents efforts at home, the children would grow up as disciplined, responsible and exemplary citizens who would be a pride to society.
The member state house of assembly, reaffirmed his commitment, the member representing Rano, Kibiya and Bunkure Federal Constituency, Alhaji Alasan Rurum and the area Chairman Malam Muhammad Naziru Ya’u Rano, to continue supporting Governor Engineer. Abba Kabir Yusuf’s programmes aimed at improving education and enhancing the welfare of the people of the area and Kano State as a whole.
In his remarks, the local government council chairman, Malam Muhammad Naziru Ya’u Rano, urged the beneficiaries to rethank Almighty Allah, the Kano state government, and the members of state and federal legislators representing the area for their efforts in securing the employment opportunity for them.
He also advised the newly employed teachers to be diligent, committed and dedicated to their responsibilities in order to contribute meaningfully so as to achieve set goals.
The area education secretary Alhaji Sani Ibrahim Ya’u Rano, assured the new teachers of the department’s full support and called on them to contribute their best towards the improvement of educational standard in the area.
Speaking on behalf of the newly recruited teachers, their chairman, Malam Kamar Yusha’u Shangu, expressed appreciation to the Kano state government under the leadership of Governor Engineer. Abba Kabir Yusuf for providing them with offer of employment
He pledged that they would work diligently and contribute their quota towards the developmen of education in Rano local government and Kano State at large.
